Wax Melt Care & Safety Guide
To ensure you get the best experience from your Laycock Collection, please follow these simple guidelines.

The Ritual: How to Use
Prepare: Remove all packaging from the wax melt.

Place: Pop one cube into the well (dish) of your ceramic burner or electric warmer Melt:
Ceramic Burners: Use a standard unscented 4-hour tealight. Do not use 8-hour tealights, as they can cause the burner to overheat and crack.

Electric Warmers: Simply switch on.

Enjoy: Allow the aroma to fill your space. Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
Important Safety Precautions
Never leave unattended: Extinguish the tealight or turn off the warmer if you leave the room.

Keep Safe: Place your burner on a flat, heat-resistant surface, well out of reach of children and pets.

Location Matters: Keep away from draughts, curtains, or anything flammable.

Do Not Move: Never try to move the burner while the wax is molten or the tealight is lit.

Pure Wax Only: Do not add water or fragrance oils to the wax.
How to Change Your Scent
When the scent has faded, remove the old wax before adding a new cube. Never pour wax down the sink or drain.

Method 1 (The Pop-Out): Light a tealight under the solid wax for just 30-60 seconds. This will melt the bottom layer slightly, allowing you to slide the solid disc of wax out cleanly. Wipe the dish with a paper towel.

Method 2 (The Soak-Up): While the wax is fully molten, drop a few cotton
wool balls into the dish to soak up the liquid. Discard the cotton wool in the bin and wipe the dish clean.

⚠️ CAUTION: Please take extra care during this step, as the wax will be very hot and may burn your hand. Ensure the burner has cooled slightly before touching the ceramic.

Storage
To preserve the strength of the essential oils and fragrance, store your melts in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or radiators.
1. Avoid excessive burn time, no more than 4 hours is recommended

Burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from flammable objects and drafts

Allow candle to melt to the edge of the vessel. This prevents future tunneling

Never leave a burning candle unattended, always leave 1/2cm at the bottom of any candle to avoid overheating.

Keep out of reach of pets and children

Trim the wick to 1/4 " tall before every burn to keep the wax clean and burning nicely
