Yorkshire Harvest was built around that exact moment. Not a general idea of summer fruit, but something far more specific, the particular sweetness of a late Yorkshire afternoon when the season is at its fullest and most beautiful.
It opens with wild plum, ripe and deeply fruity, the kind of top note that fills a room with an immediate sense of late summer abundance. Rock rose moves alongside it, adding a soft floral warmth that stops the fruit from ever becoming too heavy and gives the opening a gentle, sun-warmed elegance.
Apricot and peach develop through the heart, lush, golden and quietly indulgent. The two fruits work together beautifully, each bringing its own character to the blend while complementing the other. There is a warmth here that feels entirely natural, the warmth of fruit that has been ripening in real sunshine rather than grown under artificial light.
The base is where it becomes truly special. Cedarwood grounds everything with a quiet, woody depth. Raspberry and cassis add a dark, jammy richness that deepens the fruit without sweetening it. Sultana sits underneath it all, warm and slightly honeyed, the note that ties the whole fragrance together and gives Yorkshire Harvest its unmistakable sense of place.
