Heritage Rose was inspired by two things, the enduring romance of classic floral perfumery and the particular kind of comfort that comes from wrapping yourself in something soft and warm on a cold evening. It opens with the soft, dewy freshness of rose and jasmine, classic, beautiful and immediately enveloping. Pure essential oils have a quality that fragrance oils rarely replicate, a naturalness and depth that makes the flowers smell like flowers rather than like a version of flowers.
Benzoin moves through the heart, adding a sweet, resinous warmth that deepens the florals without overwhelming them. Vetiver sits alongside it, earthy and faintly smoky, grounding the blend and giving it a quiet sophistication.
Vanilla weaves through the base, creamy and skin-like, rounding everything into a warm, lingering finish that stays in a room long after the candle has been snuffed.
